OrigiNations works directly with indigenous and local communities, collaborating with grassroots associations, federations, non-governmental organisations, local governments, as well as with national and international institutions committed to furthering indigenous rights, cultural heritage and nature conservation.

In Peru, we have a long-term collaboration originating in 2009 with the association „Qoriorqo“, which runs a cultural center in Andahuaylillas in the Andes.

In the Central Amazon region of Oxapampa, since 2016 we have been cooperating with Yánesha and Ashéninka communities, their indigenous federations and with IBC, a Peruvian NGO engaged in nature conservation and indigenous issues. We are grateful to the German foundation Nord-Süd-Brücken (with funds from BMZ) for their support of this initiative.

In Central African Republic, we have supported the indigenous youth group Ndima-Kali since 2012. We carried out a three-year-long project from 2015 to 2018 with the group on promoting indigenous rights and culture in collaboration with the Central African NGO MEFP („Maison de l’Enfant et la Femme Pygmées“), the pan-African indigenous network IPACC („Indigenous Peoples of Africa Co-ordinating Committee“) and WWF Germany, supported by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Founding members of OrigiNations have previously cooperated with and received support from the following organizations (among others):
